Conference of the Parties (COP) 31

COP 31 scheduled for November 2026 in Turkey like previous COPs will bring together tens of thousands of people to talk about climate change. COPs are organised by the UN through IPCC and UNFCC and bring together heads of states and governments, international organisations and international and national mainstream media among others. COPs talks have been centred around the argument that greenhouse gases produced by humans have caused climate change in general and global warming in particular.

COP 31 will focus on adaptation which is a departure from mitigation talks according to IPCC – probably an admission that mitigation measures based on their understanding of the causes of climate change have flopped. But it is astonishing how tens of thousands of leaders in their own rights have been shepherded like sheep by fraudstars masquerading as experts and scientists, into accepting the silliest idea about climate change for 30 times in more than 30 years without asking questions.

COP 31 is therefore likely to bring together leaders who could easily be described as dunderheads to talk about anything and everything except what is important about climate change. While climate change remains the greatest challenge to humanity’s existence on planet earth, it has been turned into a big opportunity for making easy money though some con scheme called carbon trading. It is because of money issues that no journal will publish anything that challenges the greenhouse gases theory or myth. It is for the same monetary considerations that no mainstream media will entertain any criticism of the greenhouse gases theory and anyone raising questions about the theory is quickly and roundly labelled ‘climate change deniers’.

Climate change has occasioned many disasters resulting in deaths of humans and animals on one hand and destruction of property and infrastructure on the other running into trillions of dollars. Climate change is getting worse and more disasters are in the offing. The greatest threat from climate change is an ice age which will result in an apocalypse rendering the moneys made from climate change scams useless and irrelevant. It is sincerely stupid to prioritize financial gains over preservation of our species on planet earth.

COP 31 would do the world a great favour if it could provide an opportunity to recognize that the world has been mislead on the causes of climate change and recognize the urgent need to mitigate climate change based on sound scientific research and reasoning. If this can’t happen then COP 31 should instead shift focus on how to cope with an ice age because one is around the corner.
